Community Comes Together to Celebrate Opening of Recovery Community Hub’s Flagship Center in Riviera Beach

March 25, 2026

The Recovery Community Hub of Palm Beach County (The Hub) invites the community to celebrate the grand opening of its new flagship headquarters in Riviera Beach on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. The event will bring together an estimated 150–200 residents, families, community partners, and local leaders in a shared commitment to recovery and connection.

More than a ribbon cutting, this celebration reflects the strength and resilience of the local recovery community. The new Riviera Beach location—the largest Recovery Community Center (RCC) in the county—was created to expand access to support, build meaningful connections, and ensure that no one has to navigate recovery alone.

The event will include a ceremonial ribbon cutting, community remarks, and a special proclamation recognizing the importance of recovery support in Palm Beach County. Commissioner Bobby Powell will present the official proclamation, as will City of Riviera Beach Mayor,  Douglas Lawson. Light refreshments will be served.

Founded in 2021 with the support of Palm Beach County Community Services, The Hub is a peer-led Recovery Community Organization built by and for the community. Its mission is to empower, connect, and advocate for individuals and families in all stages of recovery.

At the heart of The Hub’s work is community voice. Each Recovery Community Center is guided by a leadership committee of local residents who identify the unique needs of their community and help shape services to ensure they are responsive, inclusive, and accessible.

The Hub embraces all pathways to recovery and works to reduce stigma, remove barriers to care, and create a culture where recovery is understood, supported, and celebrated. Through its four Hubs across Palm Beach County, The Hub offers programs designed to meet people where they are—supporting individuals, children, and families along every step of their journey.

This community-driven approach is making a measurable impact. In the first six months of Fiscal Year 2026, The Hub has seen a 237% increase in participation, providing over 4,800 services to more than 580 individuals.

“The opening of this flagship center is a reflection of what’s possible when a community comes together,” said Executive Director, Holly Stewart, LCSW. “This space belongs to the community—it’s a place for connection, hope, and support for anyone impacted by substance use.”

The Riviera Beach headquarters will serve as a gathering place where individuals and families can find support, build relationships, and access resources in a welcoming, stigma-free environment.
